Potomac Institute for Policy Studies Senior Fellow Dan Gallington commented to the NextGov website on the WikiLeaks case and the consequences for government information sharing. NextGov observes that the government may have few options to control such leaks without hampering internal information sharing. Dr. David Kay is a Senior Fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies and a former IAEA/UNSCOM Chief Nuclear Weapons Inspector. He is closely watching Iran's nuclear talks with major world powers including the US, which ended in Geneva with an agreement to meet again in Istanbul in January. Potomac Institute for Policy Studies Senior Fellow Dan Gallington, Esq., is a security and legal expert who has served as Chief Counsel to the National Commission for the Review of the National Reconnaissance Office; bi-partisan General Counsel to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; Deputy Counsel for Intelligence Policy at the Department of Justice; and Legal Advisor for Intelligence Oversight in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, among other positions. In a recent column, he writes about ways in which "civilized" societies struggle to define acceptable standards of justice and punishment, even as they condemn harsh punishments meted out by legal systems in other countries.
