Senior Research Fellow Jamie Barnett is currently serving under an IPA agreement as Chief, Public Safety & Homeland Security Bureau, for the Federal Communications Commission.  In testimony before the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, he expressed concern that industry cybersecurity efforts are not enough to protect vital infrastructure.  His comments came at a hearing entitled “Cybersecurity: Threats to Communications Networks and Public-Sector Responses,” and were reported in Federal Computer Week.
