"National, Regional, and Global Terrorism:

An Israeli Perspective"

with Yoram Schweitzer

January 31, 2018

Since the establishment of the State of Israel nearly seventy years ago, it has continuously faced terrorism threats from state and non-state actors both at home and abroad. What are Israel’s counterterrorism lessons within the context of broader regional and global challenges? Unique insights on these and related security concerns will be presented by Yoram Schweitzer, an Israeli expert with extensive government and academic experience.

The seminar was moderated by Professor Yonah Alexander (Director, Inter-University Center for Terrorism Studies and Senior Fellow, Potomac Institute for Policy Studies) and featured Yoram Schweitzer (a senior research fellow and head of the Terrorism and Low Intensity Conflict Program at the Institute for National Security Studies).
