Join us virtually for a timely webinar on the monetary policy challenges facing the Federal Reserve!
Understanding the potential for U.S. monetary challenges to profoundly shape the economic landscape for research, innovation, and industrial competitiveness is central to the Potomac Institute’s in-depth analytic approach. Our economist, Rosalie Loewen, will provide a brief overview of the Fed's mandate and tools with some discussion on the Fed's targets, timing, and what is at risk. Bonus: a helpful sidebar on 10-year Treasuries and why these are a big deal right now.
The Institute regularly hosts discussions and forums at the intersection of business and government for our scholars and affiliates to stay abreast of critical issues in science policy. Due to the central importance of this topic, we have decided to extend this invitation, typically reserved for internal Institute scholars, to our broader network.
