Kathryn Young is a Research Assistant at the Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, she was a Program Coordinator for Executive Education and the Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. In that role, she assisted in the creation and execution of leadership development programs and courses. Young graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University with a B.S. in athletic training and minors in medical Spanish and honors interdisciplinary studies with an area of emphasis in research. In college, her research focused on innovative healthcare, local food security, and healthcare policy and protocol. She also studied at the University of Salamanca for a semester as an undergraduate.
