“Combating Terrorism:
The Role of Sharing Intelligence”

In the wake of the escalated terrorist plots and attacks worldwide as well as the April 2016 Nuclear Security Summit’s warning that “the threat of nuclear and radiological terrorism remains one of the greatest challenges to international security,” the role of sharing intelligence domestically and globally is becoming more critical than ever before.

Experts with extensive government, diplomatic, and academic experience discussed past lessons of what worked and what did not and offered short and long-term recommendations on information-sharing in the evolving battle against terrorism that is consistent with national laws and relevant obligations abroad.
